The Natural Sciences & Mathematics Department provides programs with unparalleled facilities and educational opportunities. We offer a variety of science programs, including an early assurance physicians program that admits students to SUNY Upstate Medical University. Our Mathematics program offers devoted faculty instruction, small class sizes, and collaborative learning techniques. Students can choose one of six associate degree programs to focus on. These areas provide the knowledge for students to work as technicians in the agriculture, food, drug or health-related industries or hands-on emergency medical training.
Our one-of-a-kind early assurance physicians program clears the way for entrance to medical school. Through the joint agreement students can study physical therapy, respiratory therapy, cardiovascular perfusion, radiation therapy, cytotechnology, medical imaging sciences, medical biotechnology and medical technology.
The Biotechnology bachelor’s program is for students who want to specialize in modern cellular biology, genetics, or molecular biology. The program prepares students for graduate study or biotechnology careers in government, education, research, agriculture and food production industries.
