For any students interested in Agricultural Marketing activities including building relationships with agribusiness professionals and competing nationally on a food marketing plan.
The SUNY Cobleskill Agricultural Engineering Club is made up of college students who share an interest in agriculture and the machinery and mechanics used within the field. We hold weekly meetings, club events, club trips, a yearly banquet, tool raffle, and participate in other campus events. Participation is open to all SUNY Cobleskill students of any and all majors.
We are a Student Sub-Unit of the American Fisheries Society (AFS). Our goals are to provide members with the opportunity to exchange experiences students have had by completing their internships/jobs and provide professionals the opportunity to share with us what they are doing in fisheries and aquaculture occupations. The AFS Student Sub-Unit welcomes anyone who has a passion for fish.
The club offers students the opportunity to work with the college owned livestock
in preparing the animals for various types of performances. The club sponsors many
activities and events throughout the year. Some are: The Northeast Horseman's Clinic,
Livestock Fitting, The Livestock Jamboree, Canine Police Training, and The Annual
Livestock Project. Each year the club also is very proud to own registered Hampshire
sheep. This club is for anyone who has an interest in animals.

The Business Careers Club is focused on providing education enhancing skills and opportunities for students to prepare them for the work place. The actual activities are set by the members each year and have included guest speakers, workshops, etiquette dinners, employer panel discussions, COBY Madness, etc.
The SUNY Cobleskill Canine Club is all about, you guessed it, dogs! We are a collective
of dog lovers who want to express our love and appreciation for our four-legged friends.
From dog-themed fundraisers to volunteering at shelters, dog-related field trips,
and educational presentations, we celebrate dogs in any way we can. We are open to
all majors and have a dog at every meeting!
This club educates members about both working dogs and pet dogs via presenters as well as field trips.
We aim to effectively contribute to the development of skilled and knowledgeable professionals in the field while also raising awareness about the critical importance of cybersecurity in today's digital landscape.
Trips, club sponsored contests, and a consignment sale of registered cattle are just
some of the activities. It is a welcomed attraction to animal science, dairy, and
other majors continuing their education here at Cobleskill. This club is open to any
person, from any major interested in cattle.

The purpose of the SUNY Cobleskill Student Chapter of Ducks Unlimited is to promote
the conservation of waterfowl and their habitats through education, research and outreach.
It recognizes that ducks, geese, and swans are a vital part of the human environment,
ecologically, economically and recreationally.

The Early Childhood Association is open to any student interested in the education and welfare of young children. The purpose of the association is to raise money for community programs serving children to provide special programs for community children and to provide information to the public regarding the needs and rights of children.
The purpose of the Honeybee and Pollinator club is to raise awareness of pollinators and reduce the stigma associated with bees. The club allows students of all degrees to have hands on experience with an often overlooked aspect of agriculture.
Our mission is to act as a real world design agency by offering creative design solutions
to our campus and surrounding communities. We engage in transactions with clients
and clubs to gain experience and to enhance our portfolios and professional body of
work. By operating as an agency, we establish leadership roles for our members and
create opportunities for meaningful collaboration and personal growth. All students
are welcome to join our team to hone their communication and business skills for a
successful start in their chosen field.

The purpose of this club is to foster an understanding of sustainability in the green
industry. To develop horticultural and agricultural skills that embrace a strong ecological
relationship. The Plant Science and Sustainability Club will be a place to encourage
diversity of backgrounds and perspectives futures among peers. Our meetings and events
will be places for communication between the related majors in the fields of agriculture,
horticulture, wildlife and other related majors - not exclusively.

The purpose of the Pre-Veterinary Club is to promote the interest and education in the animal science field with a concentration on a career in veterinary medicine, to encourage academic excellence and to support a sense of harmony among its members. They also aid in the care of animals at surrounding animal maintenance facilities and work to become familiar with the veterinary office atmosphere.

The Society for Conservation Biology (SCB) is an international professional organization dedicated to promoting the scientific study of the phenomena that affect the maintenance, loss, and restoration of biological diversity. The Society for Conservation Biology envisions a world where people understand, value, and conserve the diversity of life on Earth. The student chapter at Cobleskill welcomes anyone interested in the conservation of biodiversity.
Meet others on campus with similar interests and write about things that matter to you. The Writers Group functions like a writing workshop, brings in notable speakers, and publishes an online journal, Tigerlily. All majors and all level writers are welcome!
Therapeutic Horsemanship Club members are college students from all over the United States who share a love for equines, want to explore the human-equine relationship and learn how animals can therapeutically impact our lives. We are open to all majors! Come and join us!
It is the goal of the Student Chapter of The Wildlife Society to provide opportunities
for improved communication among individuals locally and with other student chapters,
augment fish, wildlife, and natural resource educational opportunities, prepare members
for careers, to encourage professionalism and high standards, and to promote a broader
understanding of fish, wildlife, and natural resources to the campus and surrounding
communities.

The purpose of this club is to protect, reconnect, restore and sustain Coldwater fisheries
in Schoharie County and its surrounding watersheds. We will ensure that robust populations
of native and wild Coldwater fish once again thrive within their North American range,
so that future generations can enjoy healthy fisheries in their home waters.

The purpose of this club is to provide social, cultural, and educational opportunities
for all members of the college community and to provide students with experience in
group planning and leadership as well as social and educational contacts. Specific
responsibilities of CEB include sponsoring major weekends and concerts, selection
of movies and speakers, special events, and presenting programs involving music, theater,
and dance.

It is the purpose of the RA Activities Council to provide an outlet for Resident Assistants, financial support for programming and educational opportunities, to create a forum for discussion for residence hall programs, to support and provide citizenship opportunities, and to offer opportunities for positive interaction among the Residential Life staff.
SGA is the official voice of the student body. As a group, SGA shares their thoughts
and concerns about the quality of the student experience with key members of the administration.
They also oversee the use of the Student Activity Fee, which amounts to over $440,000.
Members and officers of SGA sit on various campus committees, all in an effort to
represent the needs of the students on a variety of levels.

The purpose of Archery Club is to educate others about the history of archery as a
sport and to better the skills of members through practice and competitions.

This Team & Club is a collective group of student anglers who are interested in fishing
and competing in Bass Tournaments at the collegiate level. They compete regionally
and are active in the community with clean-ups, fund raisers, club awareness and promoting
clean, outdoor activities.

The purpose of the Chess Club is to teach members about the game of chess, including proper chess play and etiquette, and to promote a positive environment for game play. The Chess Club invites members from all skill levels and backgrounds to come together and partake in chess, either by spectating, or playing in a game.
Join the E-sports club in creating a community based on competitive and non-competitive gaming! Our club allows others to experience a new type of team building within the gaming community and within E-sports.
This club shall support the Woodsmen Team at various Intercollegiate competitions and public demonstrations. It will strive to be at the service of the College and local community while practicing safe and efficient use of its own tools and educating others in such use. They will practice good resource management.
Suny Cobleskill American Civil Liberties Union is a teen activist's group. The group allows us to advocate for the student' rights. Our issues focus on racial justice, reproductive rights and justice, education, due process and justice, LGBTQ Rights, and Voting. The club will be working a long side the program NYCLU to complete campaigns and events
The purpose of the Commuter Student Organization is to give the commuter students a voice and give them an opportunity to address common concerns. We provide engagement opportunities for commuter students to connect to one another.
Its on Us is a national program that's mission is to "build the movement to combat campus sexual assault by engaging all students, including young men, and activating the largest student organizing program of its kind in grassroots awareness and prevention education programs."
You could become a part of the SUNY Cobleskill Chapter in which we inspire to follow this mission by participating in/creating donation drives, educational programs, community engagement opportunities and more.
The goal of Q&A is to allow persons of any sexual orientation, gender identity, and/or
expression and allies of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning (LGBTQ)
persons to obtain support from their peers and to promote acceptance and educate about
the diversity of the campus community.
