Participation
In order to take part in the commencement ceremony, you must submit your online graduation application by Friday, April 26. If your graduation application is submitted after Friday, April
26, your name will not be listed in the Commencement program.

Please note: No pets allowed with the exception of service animals.
Parking & Shuttles
Only Accessible parking is available at the Field House for vehicles with valid permits
or license plates.
Shuttle Service will be provided to and from various campus parking lots. Map of shuttle stops provided here. Signage will be posted.
Graduation Fee
The fee for graduation is $50. This non-refundable $50 fee covers the cost of degree
evaluations, the diploma, and ceremony expenses. Payments can be made at the Student
Financial Services Office, Knapp Hall, Room 118, 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays or online
through your Banner Web account.

Cap and Gown
- Commencement regalia will be available in the College Store beginning on Monday, April
8,
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Students who cannot pick up their caps and gowns in person may make mail order arrangements
through the College Store https://collegestore.cobleskill.edu/graduation/ or by calling 518-255-5527.
- Bachelor Regalia cost is $125.00 plus tax; includes gown, discipline hood, tassel and cap.
- Associates Regalia cost is $85.00 plus tax; includes gown, tassel, and cap.
- All regalia items will be ticketed for individual sale. Á la carte regalia purchases
are available. Please contact the College Store for pricing and availability.
- Regalia will be available for purchase in the College Store through Commencement day.
- Orders are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
- Please note that gowns, caps, and tassels are your personal property and should be
taken with you following commencement.

Wristbands
- Each 2024 graduate is receiving an allotment of ten WRISTBANDS for their family and guests.
- Please distribute these wristbands to your family PRIOR to the Commencement ceremony.
- Wristbands will allow your family and guests access to PREFERRED SEATING sections for the ceremony.
- This is to ensure that families and guests of our graduates have access to optimal
seating areas as it is anticipated that members of the public will also attend this
open event to hear Dr. Temple Grandin, our honorary doctorate recipient, deliver her
keynote address.
- If your party has more then ten people, those without wristbands will be allowed access
so that your family/guests can sit together.
Name Card
- When you pick up your regalia you will receive your name card that will be used to
announce your name during the Commencement ceremony.
- Your name will be printed on the card. Please add phonetic pronunciation, if necessary.
- Students must bring their name card to the Commencement line-up.
- Do not lose this card!
Photography
Guests may take photographs from their seats; however, in order to avoid obstructing
the view of others, you are asked not to approach the stage area. SUNY Cobleskill
has contracted with Grad Images, to take photographs of each graduate receiving his/her
diploma from President Terenzio. Grad Images, will contact graduates via email regarding
the possible purchase of these photographs. The College does not benefit financially
from this arrangement; it is provided as a service to graduates and their families.
You are not obligated to purchase the photographs.
Diplomas
Diplomas will not be distributed at Commencement. They will be mailed to each graduate's
address submitted on graduation application upon certification by the faculty that
all graduation requirements have been met.
