Use the link and follow the instructions below to complete your housing application:
- You will be redirected to our Housing.Cloud page.
- Sign-in with your SUNY Cobleskill single sign-on.
- Click "Start Application".
- Complete your emergency contact information.
- Indicate your Residence Hall and Room Type preferences.
- Review the Student Housing License Agreement and sign.
- Complete the Roommate Questionnaire.
- Click "Complete" and confirm "Submit".
You will receive a system notification once your application is successfully submitted.
Once submitted, your application status will show as “Under Review”. Your application
will then be reviewed and approved. Once approved, you will receive another notification
and can then begin browsing rooms and finding roommates.
The room selection period will start at 9am on Monday, June 2nd and close at 4pm on Friday, June 6th. Your selection time is determined based on when you submitted your application. The earlier you apply, the earlier placement you will have in the selection process!
How to find a roommate?
- Log back into your Housing.Cloud portal.
- Click "Dashboard".
- Under the "Action List", click "Find a roommate".
- If you are still searching for roommates, we strongly encourage you to turn on "Make
My Roommate Questionnaire Public" by clicking ‘Roommates’; then checking ‘Roommate
Questionnaire Public’.
- You will see a list of residents who have made their roommate questionnaire public.
Other residents will see your profile as well.
- You can filter the list using the "Roommate Preferences" drop-down menu.
- Click on a profile to see their roommate questionnaire answers, and their Cobleskill
email to get in touch.
- Once you know who you are rooming with, click "Create Roommate Group". A link will
be generated, which you can share with your future roommate to invite them to the
group.
- The person who created the roommate group is the default group leader and will select
the room for the entire group.
NOTE: All rooms are to be filled to capacity. If you wish to live in a double, you MUST
have the matching amount of people in your roommate group. If you select a room without
filling it to capacity, you could be reassigned by Residential Life to a different
room of the same type.
NOTE: There is a limited number of single rooms, and they are very popular. So even if
you are planning to live in a single, it's important to have a roommate in mind as
a backup plan.
How do I pick my room?
- Log back into your Housing.Cloud portal.
- Click "Dashboard".
- Under the "Action List", click "Select a room".
- You will see the date and time your room selection will begin, and the list of rooms.
- Use the "Filter" drop-down menu to filter by building and room type. Note: you will
only see rooms available to you.
- Click into a room to view more details.
- When your room selection has begun, you will see the button "Book this room". Click
on the button, then click confirm, and your room selection is complete!
- The room selection period ends at 4pm on Friday, June 6th. If you do not select a room by this time, the ResLife office will assign you based
on your preference and room availability in the following weeks.
