The College enforces a no-pet policy in its residence halls, College-owned apartments, and campus facilities. Exceptions are made for service and emotional support animals according to the guidelines outlined in the documents below.

If you are a current student and would like to register an Emotional Support Animal (ESA), please complete and submit the following documents to the Residential Life Office.
Please note that SUNY Cobleskill falls within the jurisdiction of the Village of Cobleskill and all students must comply with respective ordinances. This includes that all residents of the Village of Cobleskill must apply for a dog license through the Town of Cobleskill as per Article 56 - Dog Licensing and Control. All residential students must successfully receive a license from the Cobleskill Clerk before bringing their dog to campus. This pertains to all support animals, including service animals. If you are the guest or visitor of a current student and would like to register a Service or Emotional Support Animal, please complete and submit the following documents to the Residential Life Office.
